Bayshore Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Home is a 171 bed facility in South Tampa. We will be going to play bingo, share time, and do arts & crafts with the residents with the sole mission of bringing some joy to their day. Buy a "ticket" to register for this event. Only 30 spaces are available.
PLEASE BRING A BAG LUNCH AS WE WILL BE EATING AT THE NURSING HOME.
For this trip, our sponsor church, Hyde Park United Methodist is hosting an afternoon of FUN at Pinarama on S. Dale Mabry & Gandy Blvd. All GET REAL Involved! attendees are welcome to attend. If you'd like to attend, bring $10 for bowling and any refreshments you may want to purchase. There is a special permission slip below for this event. Transportation will be provided both to Pinarama and, for those not attending the afternoon activities, back to the Magnolia Building.

GET REAL Involved!
GET REAL Involved! engages youth in community service within Tampa Bay.
This group was formed based on the idea that getting students involved in community service early and often will change the world.
We know students want to make a difference, and that they prefer to spend time with their peers & friends. GET REAL Involved! service projects allow them to do just that. We organize turnkey service projects within the Tampa Bay community that are screened to conform to Hillsborough County School requirements for service hours.
All trips are fully chaperoned with background checked adults. All service sites have been screened. We've done all the work, all you have to do is fill out some forms (click here) and show up!This group is sponsored by the Youth Ministry of Hyde Park United Methodistwhich has been organizing monthly youth service projects under the GET REAL banner since 2006. All are welcome!
